What Causes Pain In Upper Stomach?

Question : I have developed pain in my upper left above the stomach. this is the 3 rd day. also I have been somewhat constipated during that time

Your symptoms can be caused by some mild infection of the gastrointestinal tract or by stomach issues like peptic ulcer, stomach inflammation, Helicobacter Pylori infection. Bacterial infection is more possible if the symptoms have started after some food intake which could be not fresh. This is more possible if you have also mild fever, nausea. Stomach issues usually give dull pain which does not go away after painkillers. Some chest burning, acid reflux can be also present. I suggest you to start with probiotic intake, avoiding fatty foods, spicy foods, coffee, chocolate, alcohol. If the symptoms wont go away, gastroscopy should be done. Hope this will help. I have been following the weight watchers diet closely for 3 weeks. any chance this could be part of the problem???
