proper examination by gynecologic is needed, provide more information
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
Pain during sex in female can be due to many reasons.
Retroverted uterus can be one of the causes. To diagnose the same proper physical examination by gynecologist and/or ultrasound examination of pelvis are required.
Let me know more information.
- How much duration of your married life has passed?
- Since when this type of pain is there?
- What about her menstrual history? Irregular or painful?
After your response I can guide you further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

It is very interesting that psychiatrist is answering questions about gynecology, but if you are interested it is ok
We are together for 6 years !!
As at first sex was more easy not so active, and during time we tried something more active, and in some position stared pain for her !! for example from behind she has got a pain when I got deeper inside her and when get faster movements !! she is going to gynecologist and everything seams fine !!
But she is having this pain during the sex and she is shy ask help for her gynecologist. So I must start to solve that problem.
With her menstrual cycle everything is fine !!
So that’s why I think it could be retroverted uterus.

                                    Brief Answer:
she/ you need to tell doctor about the problem
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for follow up.
I am being a psychiatrist by degree sexologist also. Problem related to sex generally dealt by sexologist. That is why your question was updated to me and I have given answer.
In female sex problem organic problem is treated by gynecologist and psychological and physical aspects of sex are checked by sexologist.
She feels pain in particular position and during deep penetration.
This history suggests that there is some anatomical problem in her genitalia.
Following possibilities are there:
- Problems with the cervix
- Problems with the uterus: These problems may include endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine prolapse, retroverted uterus, uterine fibroids. However her menstruation is regular, so less chances of any invective or inflammatory pathology.
- Cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome, hemorrhoids and ovarian cysts can cause deep intercourse pain.
- Other cause is past abdominal surgery or surgery in local area for any reason.
I really appreciate your efforts to find out the cause and searching right probability.
She needs to tell her gynecologist clearly without any hesitation about her problem then only doctor will do detail examination and necessary investigations. Treatment can only be done after finding out the cause. Ultrasound will help a lot. I also suggest going with her and if she is shy you should explain problem to doctor directly.
Feel free to discuss further.
