Question : I fell on the icy driveway and landed on my back three days ago. The XRay check confirmed no bone injured and i am supposed to take tylanol. I have a very light pain in my back and in the front, mostly under lower right rib, when walking. Practically no pain when lying down or seeting. But at the moment when I am trying to stand up the extremely strong pain lasting a few minutes strikes my front at the chest and stomach level. XXXXX

Brief Answer:
Can be due to a muscle spasm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain just below the ribs in the front and at the back can be due to a muscle spasm. Since any bony injury has been ruled out there is no need to worry. You can take a muscle relaxant and do a hot compress in the area for relief. Using a local analgesic gel will also help.
I hope this answers your query.
