Brief Answer:
Please give detailed history.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short.
Noted the history of Lapbanding in 2007 and have pain in the left side under rib cage and also pain at the port site.
I would like to know a few details for us to discuss further:
Is there any bulge at the port site?
Any bloating, nausea, vomiting?
Black stools (malena), any altered bowel movements?
Since it is a long time since you had lap banding, we have to know the detailed history. It is possible that the reasons of your symptoms may or may not be related to the gastric band.
Awaiting for your feedback?

I do have some bloating, no malena present, occassionally im nausiated but just put it down to being hungry. I have loose stools but then i can get consipated. At the port site there is no bulge but its extremely tender to touch.
I have lost 30kgs in total never had any complication. No reflux, no problems with the band itself until last week.

Brief Answer:
Clinical evaluation and examination by a Surgeon.

Thanks for your feedback.
Noted that you have some bloating, occasional nausea; alternating bowel habits as we call, meaning sometimes loose stools and sometimes constipated.
Extreme tenderness at the port site without bulging needs clinical evaluation and examination, as for other symptoms that you have mentioned.
It is good to know that you have lost 30 kg and never had any complications.
It would be really difficult to say that these problems are just because of some gastric/intestinal issue or as a complication of band.
I would advise you to have a clinical evaluation and actual examination by a Surgeon just to make sure what the problem is and to go for further tests and treatment is necessary.
