Noted the history of Lapbanding in 2007 and have pain in the left side under rib cage and also pain at the port site.

Is there any bulge at the port site?
Any bloating, nausea, vomiting?
Black stools (malena), any altered bowel movements?
Since it is a long time since you had lap banding, we have to know the detailed history. It is possible that the reasons of your symptoms may or may not be related to the gastric band.

I do have some bloating, no malena present, occassionally im nausiated but just put it down to being hungry. I have loose stools but then i can get consipated. At the port site there is no bulge but its extremely tender to touch.
I have lost 30kgs in total never had any complication. No reflux, no problems with the band itself until last week.
