What Causes Pain Near The Collar Bone And In The Breast?
Question: Hello doctor , i have pain in left upper part of breast its not persistant but comes and goes... the pain is below the collar bone .. and i am experiancing it since last night ... i am in my periods right now.. hence i am not able to gauge whats the reason of my pain... can you please help

The pain near the collar bone and in upper part of the breast can be due to hormonal changes during the periods. It can be a mild muscular pain also due to wrong posture, poor fluid intake, etc.
Do a mild hot compress in the area and let your bleeding subside a bit. Taking a mild pain killer will also help. It is not a worrisome matter.
