Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having pain in the upper part of the left eye near the eye socket. This can be because of inflammation of the eyelid proper or inflammation of the surrounding structures.
The inflammation of the eyelid commonly involving the glands of the eyelids presents with pain and swelling of the eyelid. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops and anti-inflammatory drugs.
The inflammation of the surrounding structures most commonly involving the sinuses will present with symptoms of recurrent cold, running nose and pain in the region.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs and anticold drugs.

As of now you need to use analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs like Diclofenac or Aceclofenac for pain relief. The next treatment depends on the underlying cause.
Please provide more information for me to help in diagnosing the underlying cause.
Do you have any noticeable swelling in the area?
Do you have redness and discharge from the eyes?
Do you have recurrent cold, running nose?

Please provide answers for the above questions so that I can advice you more accurately.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
This can be because of frontal sinusitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Since there is no swelling and discharge from the eye, this rules out eye problem. Since you are having sinus related problems, acute exacerbation of sinus inflammation can cause this problem.
Usually the involvement of frontal sinus will cause this symptoms. This can cause pain during skipping also.
This requires treatment by the use of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics along with treatment for sinus problem.
Hence I advice you to consult your ENT doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
