What Causes Pain Under Right Breast, Loss Of Appetite And Bloated Feeling?
Question: Hi, I am a female of 33 y.o. with a 3 years history of digestive issues. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with IBS and gastritis after a serie of tests performed.
Due to pain under my left rib and pale stools, I had an MRI done 2 years ago that showed nothing but a "minimal perihepatic ascite".
Since then the symptoms dissapeared until 2 month ago. I developed in early july a pain on the upper right side, that was worse when I was bending/leaning forward or lying down. I had a really strong pain under my right breast at one occasion, during a meal of steak and fries. Since then, the pain has moved to my left side under the rib, and the pain is worse aftet I eat. I also feel a stronger pain in the morning if I drink something. I have lost since XXXXXXX 4 kg, and my appetite has declined due to the fact that I have pains after I eat. I went to the GP who did a serie of blood tests and an ultrasound of the abdomen that showed nothing. The only thing that was shown on the blood tests is that I have low ferritin. I also noticed that I have pale stools and that my stomach feels full for hours after I eat. I am really worried, because all I read points to pancreatic cancer. I have a CT of the abdomen scheduled for Thursday, but I am wondering to hear your professional opinion about my sympyoms and what could be a differencial diagnosis of what is happening to me?

Since you are having pain upper ride side of your abdomen and also lost 4 kg of weight and have low ferritin in blood and having pale stools you could be suffering from pancreatic, stomach cancer or colon cancer
I would advise you to do urgent CT scan of abdomen by going to the ER
You must also do a colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy test
I would also advise you to do cancer tumour marker blood test such as CA 19.9 for pancreatic cancer and CEA for colon cancer
