Question : Hi,
I have pain in the left side of my abdomen going to the back, it's right under the ribs, i feel it's swollen and tender to touch and hard. I cannot walk, I get dizzy and exhausted fast and if my heart starts beating fast just to be able to make a step, sometimes I feel that's too much effort and I am going to drop. I drink lots of water to help ease the pain. If I skip a meal I am about to faint, get cold, cold perspiration and have flashes of heat, dizziness. I have reflux and IBS can eat limited types of food, no fresh fruit and vegetables without having intensified pain and diarrhea. Taking ibuprofen helps with the pain and staying in bed. I tried omeprazole, ibutine, medication to calm the spasm of intestine, nothing works. A recent echo showed a secondary spline, but on my CT from last year there was nothing of sorts.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
Thank you for your query
I understand your concern
Possibly you have a sensitive stomach
Worthwhile getting some basic tests like repeat sonography thyroid function tests x-ray chest and crp done if not done earlier
In addition if required an endoscopy will clear most of issues.
Need to visit an gastroenterology specialist as you need medication which might include tablets to reduce your acidity pain and sensitivity of the stomach too.
These medications may take some time to be effective and good compliance is extremely important.
Also avoid unnecessary diet restrictions as they may make you feel worse and weak.
Try and do some yoga and walk too.
Take adequate sleep.
Avoid thinking too much about the problem and try to keep your mind busy and way from thinking about the illness
All this will help you in long run too.
Hope this answers your questions
Wish you a speedy recovery
Happy to help
