Dear Ms
From the description given its less likely to be interstitial Cystitis. Interstitial Cystitis reduces the bladder volume and is also associated with increased frequency of urination, urgency incontinence. Post menopause syndrome or associated Urinary tract infection is more likely.
Declined oestrogen level causes dryness of vagina, which could result in burning sensation in the vagina and may also predispose to Urinary tract infection.
As you have mentioned there is presence of nitrite and leukocyte which definitely point towards urinary tract infection. Blood being present indicates severe Cystitis. If the symptoms have not resolved with antibiotics and you still have symptoms sms urine shows urinary tract infection then you will require Cystoscopy for further Evaluation.
I would suggest you to consult your Gynecologist and also Urologist for further management.
Wishing you a very happy and healthy life.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
