What Causes Painful And Swollen Bumps Behind The Head, Elbows And Feet?

Question: 21 yr old female has very recent "bumps" that are painful on back of head, elbows and swelling in feet.
All of the bumps and swelling come & go. She is also complaing of fatigue. No fever. She recently went to a state park.
Wondering if these are symptoms of Lyme Disease.

Noted the history related to your former student.
The bumps that come and go with itching may be an allergic ones called urticaria.
Lyme's disease has a typical hallow of whiteness and then a ring of redness and that may persist.
If the bumps or elevation of the skin, has itching and foes within a few hours or a day, these are usually due to an allergic reaction.
As the medical proverb goes, there can be development of allergy to anything under the sun including the sun, hence it is difficult to find out the causative agent/s.
If possible, please post the clear photographs as it helps for on-the-spot diagnosis.
