Brief Answer:
Probably irritation due to trauma.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The rough intercourse might have caused an injury to the penis leading to inflammation, redness, and swelling .
Trauma to these delicate tissues can lead to swelling. This is very common after vigorous intercourse or masturbation.
Don't need to worry,It usually regress gradually for 1-2 days.Just avoid intercourse or masturbation until your penis is totally recovered.
If the swelling doesn't seem to improve or go away in some days,or it is very painful ,you probably should consult a physician to examine you and exclude possible damages.

Hope it was of help.
Let me know if you have other questions or doubt to clarify.

Kind Regards!

Brief Answer:
Consult a physician.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
As you describe it doesn't seem like a serious injury of the penis like rupture. In this case the pain would have been intense with bruising and difficulty urinating or blood during urination.

Since it has been a couple of days and it doesn't seem to improve and still hurts probably it is time to consult a physician and get examined just in case.
It doesn't seem to be serious but just to be sure you should get examined because physical examination is very important to exclude a possible injury of the penis.

Take care!
