Question : bump on lip, just noticed it. kind of painful. What could it be?
Brief Answer:
Seems to be caused by teeth bite, apply topical antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs and can appreciate a tiny bump on the lower lip with a central excoriation.
It seems to form due to some minor from teeth bite on the lip.
Just keep it under observation and you can apply a topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily for 5-7 days.
This should resolve it.

this is what the area looks like after a day, could this just be it healing or so you think it could be something other than a teeth bite. see new attachment below.
Brief Answer:
Either trauma from teeth bite that is resolving or canker sore
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the newly attached photographs and it still seems to be either trauma from teeth bite or a canker sore though less likely.
If it not causing any discomfort you just keep it under observation or apply a topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily for few days.
