Question : Its really not a painfull burning more an obnoxious, sort of chapped lips feeling.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
In viamin b deficiency thus can occur.
So better to start multivitamin tablets having vit b 12 and folic acid. Take this daily for 1-2 months.
Avoid hot and spicy food.
Avoid hard food.
