Brief Answer:
Need to give more detailed history.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that from the history that you are giving it seems that it is related to your weight bearing . When you lift weight there is excessive stress on your elbows . Thats why the amount of weight should be increased very slowly to avoid any injury to the elbows.

I will first advise you to stop lifting weight and take naproxen 500 mg once or twice daily as required . Rest I would also like to know if you have any kind of swelling over the joint to rule out any possibility of arthritis . Once the pain is settled you can start lifting weights again but need to start from the lightest one and gradually increase.

Take care.

Dr. Shruti
