Brief Answer:
If you feel like you are dying, I will recommend you go to the ER!

Detailed Answer:

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about your pain and this terrible feeling like dying that you have reported. Please, this seem serious and i will recommend that you go to the emergency room without any waste of time. Your report is concerning and sating anytime at home would not really be reassuring. I will like to see you get a complete physical examination and testing to find out what is wrong and address accordingly. Also, the intensity of your pain would require powerful pain medications and am pretty sure these can only be obtained at the ER right now.

In all, I will like you to vista the ER for comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms and pain. Any delays may not really be helpful to us at this point. If you can report some of the blood pressure values, that would be helpful as well for more insights from me. While figuring your way to the ER, Tylenol would help relief the pains you are feeling.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Let me know if this is something you would be doing at this time. If there are any specifics you would want me to touch on, please do not hesitate to let me know.

hello. I have been to the ER. My blood pressure was around 140/80 but then when it was done again later it came down to 120/78 i believe. I have had blood tests done and they said that the CPK levels were elevated at 449. other than that they tested my motor functions and decided I can be sent home. However I still do not know what has caused all of this. I have had mri and ct scan of my head and both came back normal. I have had an endoscopy done and that came back normal as well. I did have an emg done and it revealed a slight neuropathy in my left foot and a pinched nerve in my back. I am jjust very nervous a lot. I want to get better but I just dont know how. I get very fatigued, dont want to move at times. I get very anxious and very depressed about all of this.

Brief Answer:
Are you on any medications for high cholesterol?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for this follow up information. I will like to know if you are on any medications? If so, please provide the manes to me. The most common cause of increased CPK levels in persons on medications are statin sussed in treating high cholesterol.

With big CPK, please drink much water to prevent any kidney damage from this. Has any one in your family ever had a similar problem before? This is because there is a form of muscle disease that runs in families. If so, please let me know of.

I hope to hear from you.

No i am not taking any medications. As far as I know nobody has any muscle diseases. I've had the cpk go up and down. It recently is up to 449 but it does come down as well. So Im not sure what that means. I do drink water but maybe not as much. I am 5'8" and weigh 265lbs. Im overweight for sure. I also suffer from anxiety pretty badly. Does this have any effect on this stuff?
