Question : I have a question regarding acid reflux. I seem to be getting this hard lump in my throat that is painful at times, especially when it's humid out. I have acid reflux. Could humidity possibly be affecting it?
Brief Answer:
Yes it could
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Humidity will cause more intensive lung expansion during breathing and this may cause worsening of reflux symptoms including lump in throat since such lungs may press esophageal and stomach. Also, you may have hiatal hernia which is causing limb in throat and symptoms are worsening when there is air humidity change. You should do gastroscopy to rule out hiatal herniaw. Wish you good healrht. Regards
