Brief Answer:
Images of the lesion required

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
It would be more informative if you could post the images of the lesion.
Painful lesions filled with pus suggest the lesions to be infective in origin and most probably bacterial infection.
However, images are required to know the site and distribution of the lesion.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Lesion could be folliculitis but images needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Recurring boils could be due to repeated infection of the hair follicles.
However, a clinical assessment is required before commenting on the nature of the lesion.

Any pain killer or any tests required?

Answered by Dr. Shailja Puri (3 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Painkiller and antibiotic course required.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
You can take a painkiller for the pain.
A course of antibiotic is required for te infectious lesion if the lesion is a small boil.
If the lesion is large enough and is filled with large quantity of pus, incision and drainage may be required followed by a course of antibiotic.
The associated pain in the leg can be due to infectious process only.
Consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus prescription of relevant drugs.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Pl tell me which pain killer tablet? And abtibiotic tablet
doctor
Answered by Dr. Shailja Puri (23 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Diclofenac for pain, clinical assessment for lesion

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
It would have been good if you consulted your doctor for clinical assessment first. In the interim I will start diclofenac for pain. You need to take a prescription for antibiotic from your doctor after clinical assessment because it may be sufficient to use topical antibiotic ointment alone for the lesions.

Thanks and take care
