What Causes Painful Joints And Muscles In An Obese?

Question: I have had joint pain and muscular pain & Weakness for the last 10 years. Over the last 1 year these symptoms have progressed so much that if I am not at work, I am basically in bed, all day, every day. My PCP thinks Its because I am obese (chronic fatigue syndrome). But I feel like I have the flu without the cold symptoms everyday. I have had Herpes II for 30 years. I have arthritis, and a double knee replacement and A-fib on several medications. I was thinking I needed to see a rheumatologist to see if I had some type of autoimmune disorder like RA or LUPUS. I am at my witts end because I am still working full time with a family I need to help support.
