Ear infection / blockage likely cause. Needs management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Left ear pain with associated lymph node enlargement indicates an ear infection likely. It usually is accompanied by draining fluid from the ear or diminished hearing and dizziness.
The management is easy and rewarding. All one needs is get an ear exam and a few labs like otoscope, tympanometry etc to find out the extent of involvement of ear whether outer ear, middle ear or inner ear is involved and then get prescribed by antibiotics and painkillers. Usually it subsides within a week.
Meanwhile apply some warm compresses over the pain site for the relief. Put some ear drops like antipyrine-benzocaine-glycerin (Aurodex) in the affected ear for the relief. You may take oral ibuprofen for the pain as well. Talk to your otorhinolaryngologist for further management.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
