Question : I have cellulitis infection for 1 week. I was in hospital with IV antibiotics and now I am at home with antibiotic pills. My lag is still painfull and become dark (almost black) from red

I understand your concern and situation.

I would advise you to drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. You must keep your leg raised using pillows or a chair. Maintain hand hygiene by washing with chlorhexidine washing. Take the medicine regularly. You can take pain killers to relieve pain. If you see necrosis and change in skin color then I would suggest you to get it evaluated by the surgeon.
