Brief Answer:
it may be a stye

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the swelling may be due to a stye/ hordeolum.

This is due to blockage of glands in the eyelid.

A chalazion can also cause swelling but this is most commonly painless.

Treatment of the stye involves: (1) a warm compress for 15 minutes, 4 times daily
This is to encourage drainage of the blocked glands

(2)Topical antibiotics to the eye may also be needed.

If there is no response, then oral antibiotics may be needed.

(3) there are some instances where the stye is incised to allow for proper drainage to occur.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
