What Causes Painful Swelling Near Armpit During Periods?
Question: I have a swolling near the sirmpit and it becomes tender during menstrual cycle. The pain goes away after the period by the swelling doesn't go away.

As per your description, it looks like a Enlarged lymphnode.
But,it has no relation to menstrual cycle. The relation could be coincidental.
I prefer to get an FNAC ( Fine Needle aspiration Cytology ) of the swelling .Exact diagnosis will be confirmed.
If it is an infected lymphnode, I prescribe Antibiotic like Cefuroxime tablet along with Anti inflammatory tablet to my patients. If there is no response, then I will remove the swelling surgically.
