Question : It hurts when I urinate. I think I saw a little bit of blood this morning (for the first time). Ive felt like there has been this issue for about a week now. I went to my work's health services and tested negative for a bladder infection. Any suggestions? My lower back hurts too and I have some nauseau. Im not sure f its all related or not, but I figured I would add that too.

Brief Answer:
URINE EXAM, ULTRASOUND KUB NEEDED

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Could you upload the test that you went through ?
Your symptoms are very much those of a urinary tract infection.
You should have a complete urine routine and microscopic test and a urine culture test too.
Another possibility is that of a calculus ( stone ) somewhere in the urinary tract, possibly kidneys since you have lower back pain.
FOr diagnosing that, you need an ultrasound scan of the kidneys, ureter and bladder.
Please consult a Urologist and get this workup done.
Meanwhile, please stay hydrated.
Drink atleast 5 litres of water a day.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further
