Question : I a 62 year old male. Sometimes when I pee I have a pain, I just had a physical and my urine test all came back good .

Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, it seems as if it due to some obstruction during urination and ot can be anything ranging from prostate to renal stone. Though urinalysis can normal earlier, it can be repeated to look for blood cells in urine as that can Indicate traumatic lesions.

Mainstay to the cause work up is ultrasound and Xray KUB to look for any signs of renal calculi or signs of fullness inside bladder or kidney draining system or signs of significant post void residual urine volumes left inside the bladder as well as structure and size of prostate.

Meanwhile drink good amounts of water and use OTC analgesics like acetaminophen for pains.
