Question : It feels like I have a mass on/ around my bicep/tricep area. Its under the skin and painless. I'm 42 years old. Just had a physical but currently had an MRI for a brachial plaxy issue( arm weakness/lack of strength). Just noticed it really last night and now I'm concerned.

Brief Answer: Lipoma Detailed Answer: Hello! Thank you for the query. Painless lump under the skin in mentioned location is most likely a lipoma. Its a benign lesion composed of fatty tissue. It is soft and smooth lump which never give a pain. Can slowly grow. Other possibility is sebaceus cyst, also benign lesion. I suggest you to have an ultrasound of this area to determine what exactly it is. Both lumps can be removed if bother you. Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions. Regards.

I am supposed to go on a trip for 3 days, would you advise against this or can an appointment later in the week work? I tend to think the worst when I find something or dont feel well. Thank you!
