What Causes Pains In Right Shoulder Radiating Down To The Arm?

Question: Hi I am 53 years old and get pains in my right shoulder radiating down my arm, also I have been getting a blocked ear sensation to my right ear can you tell me what this may be. I have high blood pressure which I am on medication for, I am 5 foot 5 inches tall and weigh 69 kilo's.

Brief Answer: Following causes to pain and blocked ear sensation Detailed Answer: Hi there, I have gone through your medical history and feel sorry for the situation you are in. Blocked ear sensation might be related to problems with middle ear and/or Eustachian tube (communication between middle ear and naso-pharynx). I suggest to get your ears checked by ENT specialist in order to get treatment in time. Another cause could be related to spikes in blood pressure and a possible ischemic attack. Further cardiac and neurological examinations are needed to determine the right cause and get proper treatment: - ECG - cardiac ECHO - Stress test Spondyloarthrosis of the neck is also to blame. An X-ray of spine at the neck level should be carried out for further evaluation. Depending on the tests results, specific treatment and management guidelines would be recommended. Hope it helped!
