Brief Answer:
There is risk of stroke for every bypass surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You should know that there is always a risk of stroke (paralysis) during the surgery, patients with more severe diseases and/or multiple organ diseases have elevated risk of stroke. So for every patient undergoing bypass surgery accepts the possibility of the risks.
If you could attach all her documentation (coronary angiography, discharge paper, analyses, ECG, echocardiography), I could give more detailed answer about her risks.

Wishing a good health to your grandma.

In case of further questions don't hesitate to ask.
