                                            Question : Had some. ColdSymptoms last week  cough yellow mucous fatigue, cleared up now continue seems like post nasal drip  cough day night no relief. Can't get to dr til tues . I noticed now  ear pain to touch at the canal.  And few days ago I had large amount pain in my other ear with cough only. I've been taking Flonase. I'm thinking go to urgent care tomorrow. At times can't get a sentence out without bronchi spasm  with cough at times  . I do not smoke.  I have a herniated disc  lower neck ,found last 6months, so I been sleeping with a lower angle which helps my migraines but I know it's not going to make the drainage issues any.easier. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am feeling worse today than a few days a go. Like a yo- yo effect . XXXX XXXXXXX   YYYY@YYYY  thank you for the help

The mainstay of management should be steam inhalation. Water in the form of vapor will reach deep inside and will help in diluting the cough and would thereby provide relief. Also take cetirizine (OTC antiallergic) once daily for next few days. Be patient. It will be fine back again in 3-7 days.
