Question : Hello,
I am 21 years old and recently have been noticing a stinging/burning sensation when i wipe my vagina with a wipe. I examined it and found this patch of white raised dots and then noticed this brown spot. i have been sexually active with my boyfriend of 3 years. I had a yeast infection about 4 months ago but was wondering if this was normal looking for the vagina. I am worried that it may be something serious. I have attached a picture. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Yes you need evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You have not mentioned what color discharge you have?
In my opinion you should consult a doctor and get your examination and investigation done to rule out the causes including STD.
After seeing report and the symptoms, I would suggest you that, you should rule out STD first.
Possibility of vaginal wart is there in your case, so please consult a doctor and examination of your partner is also very important.
Some other possibility is yeast infection.
I think I have answered your query if you have further question I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.

Thank you. I tend to have discharge most of the time but it is usuallt clear. Sometimes a faint yellow. I have checked with my partner and he has no signs of anything.
Brief Answer:
You should consult a gynaecologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Nice to see you again.
Light yellow discharge is mainly due to bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis.
You should consult your gynaecologist and take a course of antibiotic, maintain a proper hygiene, drink a lot of water and for itching take antihistaminics.
I think this information is useful to you, you feel free to ask further questions.
I feel happy to answer it.
Good luck.
