Question : Hi, I have a pea to dime size lump just below my elbow (towards hand). It is not red, skin on outside is intact. Just noticed this lump. It is palpable and visible. What could this be?

I have attached three pics. It is def not in my left elbow, just a small lump about two inches from my right elbow (forearm). I haven't bumped or injured. Just really scary to find a "lump".
Thanks!
                            Thanks!
                                    Brief Answer:
Nothing serious, avoid leaning on elbow and apply cold compression
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for providing the additional information.
I have seen the picture, I can see the slight swelling, from the picture it appears, it is superficial and may be either a infection of the hair follicle or olecranon bursitis. This might be due to leaning on your elbows. Not able to exactly diagnose it without examination and also the picture is not very clear.
I would suggest you to avoid leaving on your elbows for few days, use cold compression, try this for week of should regress. Based on the picture it does not appear to be anything serious.
As you shower to be bit anxious, you can see a doctor for examination for your own sake.
Hope you have found something useful.
Take care
