Question : my teenage daughter has a little hard pea like lump under her eye socket that seems to have just appeared
Brief Answer:
Likely to be chalazion
Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to you.
There is liklihood that this lump took some time to develop and you noticed it when she told you.
We can only be certain if we see a photo but apparently this is likely to be a chalazion which is a swelling of moebemian glands. This may be associated with discomfort or pain.
Warm compress twice a day for 5 minutes each for 5 to 7 days may start reducing it.
Kindly upload a good quality photograph so that I am better able to help you.
Any further query in this regard please do get back to me.
