Brief Answer:
There is no sign of infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

let me start from the basics...
I'll assume you're afebrile. If you've had fever then this is a different story.

The diagnosis of lower urinary tract infection (cystitis) is based for the most part in clinical data like urgency, frequency, burning sensation or pain etc. The laboratory data complement the clinical information and confirm the diagnosis.

Without symptoms, no treatment is necessary even if the lab results are remarkably bad, unless you belong to certain high risk groups (like the pregnant, the immunocompromised etc).

If you've had symptoms, please describe them in detail so I can guide you further. If you had any of the aforementioned ones and this lab test was done before treatment then perhaps another diagnosis should be sought.

If you've had cystitis symptoms then you should complete treatment no matter what the lab results are. Nitrofurantoin is a good first choice but not the most potent antibiotic for cystitis.

If by "fluish" you also mean cough or other respiratory symptoms then you'd better stop nitrofurantoin and contact your doctor. Nitrofurantoin may cause pulmonary toxicity, so respiratory symptoms should be investigated.

I hope I've helped!

Brief Answer:
Your symptom could be related to a UTI

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

"pressure" could be a symptoms of cystitis, although the most common one is a constant feeling that you've got to urinate even if you've just urinated (urgency). You haven't made clear whether this urinalysis was done before or after treatment. If it was done before treatment, then with this urinalysis report and your symptom I wouldn't have prescribed you the antibiotic.
If it was done after treatment initiation then you should complete your treatment. Lab results may quickly revert to normal after treatment is started.

I believe I've explained you the situation in a clear way.
If you're still left with questions though, please contact me again.

Kind Regards!

It was done before treatment. Could it be STD?

Answered by Dr. Panagiotis Zografakis (11 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Probably not

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

the symptom is not very specific and sometimes STD can be even asymptomaticdrge, some bleeding after sexual intercourse, burning pain when urinating and sometimes even fever and lower abdominal pain (pelvic inflammatory disease).

If you had a suspicious sexual intercourse then visiting your gynecologist is the best next step for you. The gynecologist can detect signs of STD by clinical examination and can also take samples for lab testing - if needed.

Is it suggestive of UTI?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Panagiotis Zografakis (41 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I've answered this one in my previous answers. No, your urinalysis is not suggestive of a UTI. There are not enough white blood cells, no nitrates, no red blood cells and only rare bacteria. Rare bacteria can be found for so many reasons. Bad sampling, urine left in room temperature for more than 1 hour, urine contaminated by labial bacteria etc
