What Causes Periodic Pulsing Lights In Vision?

default
Posted on Sat, 3 Oct 2015
Question: Hello. I have been experiencing periodic, visible pulsing (in keeping with heart beat) of dark and lighter circles (differing in size) in my vision since shortly after my second laser retina treatment, 3 months ago. Two ophtalmologists have viewed my eyes and told me that the eyes, themselves, look well with the lasered areas held down well. I do take BP medication. Is this possibly related. I was told this is not an eye issue and that I should tell my GP (I have an appointment in 2 weeks). I do have a small growth detected in the posterior pituitary (18 months ago). Thank you.

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
After going through your complaints and history it seems we have to focus on periodic monitoring of Bp and your pitutary growth. If feasible before going to gp after 2 weeks,if you could chart your Bp that will be a great help to your gp in managing your problem.
Do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

Thank you so much. God bless you, too.
I forgot to mention that there has been some axillary and neck lymphadenopathy evident since April 2014. Lymphoma has been ruled out and the lymphadenopathy (still present, but lessened, I believe) is believed to be reactive in nature. The right parotid gland contained a cyst for some time, as well, but that seems to have resolved. God is good. He is perfect in all of His ways and helps us in all of our troubles. He is our Deliverer. Hallelujah! What a Saviour!

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
The body is to be treated as a whole and there is no compartmentalization. An organ is supposed to effect the whole system and your physician is to view you in that totality. It was good of you to have sent us a comprehensive medical history so we could have a good idea of what have you been through.
God bless you.You will be fine.
