Brief Answer:
Have you ever undergone allergy testing?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you are having drug allergy, possibility of allergic reaction to other things is high.
Common allergens like dust, pollens, smoke, pollution, chemicals etc can cause chest congestion, sore throat etc. Food allergy can cause diarrhoea.
So please let me know
1. Have you ever undergone allergy testing?
2. Have you checked for serum IgE level?
3. Have you tested for food allergy?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

I do have seasonal allergies and take zyrtec and flonase for that. I recently got diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and possible gluten allergy. I have not tried cutting gluten out of my diet. Could that possibly be causing my symptoms?

So please let me know

I've had issues with diarrhea my entire life. I tried going on the IBS diet last year but it didn't help much. My primary Dr said if it doesn't help she wants to test me for a gluten allergy. So I should probably call her this week and get that scheduled?

When I eat a lot of bread or pasta I tend to get diarrhea. The diarrhea is semi-solid. Im generally not under a lot of stress, although I do smoke about a half pack of cigarettes a day
