Question : Hello - when I start coughing I have now found that i need to pass water to stop it - if I don't, I cough and cough then sneeze - once I have gone, it stops though I also have to blow my nose as it has started running - would you know what all this means please? I find I can start to cough when I get excited or in slightly stressful situations. ????????

The effect of micturition may be stimulating the vagus nerve.
This may be giving you temporary relief.
