Brief Answer:
Can be due to menopause or stress.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Overactive thyroid or Low blood sugars which are two main causes for Excessive sweating. Other causes are-

1.) Anxiety.
2.) Smoking.
3.) Alcoholism.
4.) Hormonal changes- menopause.

Kindly get a Opinion from a dermatologist so that he/she can evaluate you and fnd out the cause for adequate treatment. You can use a Anti perspirant after discussing it with your Doctor for example, products containing 10% to 20% aluminum chloride hexahydrate by applying to the affected areas.

I hope this answers your query.
