What Causes Persistent Fatigue, Chills And Fever?

Information
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
If you have a viral infection, yes, it can spread. That is why schools often have guidelines for people to stay home if they have a fever. You picked it up either via your respiratory tract (most frequently by touching your eyes or nose after touching a surface that someone with the virus had touched) or gastrointestinal tract (touching your mouth or food with hands that were contaminated with viruses).
As it has gone on for 5 days, I do recommend that you go in to be seen. I understand that you don't have the energy to drive. Can a friend, relative, or co-worker drive you?
In the doctor's office or urgent care clinic, they should get a complete blood count (CBC) with peripheral smear to look for signs of infection. If you have no symptoms at all, an exam will help provide additional information.
If you go in to urgent care, request to see a physician and refuse a PA or NP as what you have going on is not obvious and requires a higher level of skills/training to sort out.
I hope this information helps and you are feeling better soon.
