Brief Answer:
Seems to be due to reflux

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

It seems that your friend is suffering from reflux. The things I would suggest in this regard are:
* Taking small but frequent intervals. Long gaps between meals need to be avoided.
* Regular exercise and morning walk is essential. It will help in maintaining proper bowel movements.
* Adequate intake of green leafy vegetables and plenty of fibres in diet. These are essential for proper intestinal movements, the lack of which will promote reflux.
* Prilosec (omeprazole) taken once daily before breakfast.
* Antiemetics or prokinetic medicines if needed.

Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
Ask him to try the suggested measures first.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond earlier.

I would suggest you to insist your friend to firstly try the things mentioned. The next thing would be to see any GP in your area. If felt required, he will refer him to a gastroenterologist.

Brief Answer:
Dietary restriction is advisable. Red meat has to be eliminated from diet.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for uploading the reports. Unfortunately I am on a very slow internet connection and have painstakenly able to download only the first two attachments. The cholesterol level is raised and dietary restrictions are essential. It might also be advisable to take statins like atorvastatin 10 mg once daily on regular basis to lower the cholesterol levels. The potassium is on the lower side and I would suggest intake of juicy fruits like citrus fruits since they contain plenty of potassium. The rise in iron and Vitamin B12 reports needs correlation with the other parameters. I would really appreciate if you could manually write the reports and post.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Regards
