Brief Answer:
Probably viral infection!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I have reviewed your information fully and this is suggestive of a digestive viral infection. Management entails drinking as much fluids as possible, eating healthy, exercise often and take fruits and vegetables.

Imodium is a big NO NO and you should stop it right away. This can be likened as to retaining the germs in the stomach to cause more harm. It is never advised in an acute diarrhea. Continue with peptobismol and do not take any doxycycline.

The main treatment of diarrhea is rest, rehydration and reassurance. All would be well. s long as you drink at minimum the amount you loss through diarrhea, you are fine.

I hope this helps, I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel fee to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
