Itching in the groin area can be due to ringworm infection or intertrigo which is inflammation of the body folds.

I would like to ask you whether the itching is associated with any rash?

I would also recommend you to upload the photographs of the groin area so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.

Itching with rash is seen in both intertrigo as well as ringworm infection.
I could comment on the diagnosis on seeing the picture of the rash.

Alternatively you may consult a dermatologist / Skin specialist for your problem.

Dear Doctor Thank you for your answer. Inotice that yor are a dermatologist and I will be visiting one since my MD and Neurologist recommended the Lotrimin.

Lotrimin AF ( Clotrimazole) is an antifungal medicine. Since it is not effective in your case; either the fungi are resistant to clotrimazole or you are having intertrigo.
