Question : My nose has been bleeding for over 40 minutes, this is the second nose bleed with 3 hours. What should I do.

Have you checked your blood pressure values?

High blood pressure could be the cause of nose bleeding.

Anyway, if nose-bleeding persists besides compression or ice pack, I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:

- complete blood count
- coagulation tests.

Meanwhile, it is very important to closely monitor your blood pressure.
