Question : I have been nauseas for several days! had nasal surgery 3 weeks ago and have been nauseas ever since. I am using amoxacillan and pain went away, but now am having severe gas pains. when I press on stomach or intestinal area I have no pain but severe gas pains what can I di for this
Brief Answer:
Hello. This may be from the amoxicillin
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Amoxicillin by itself can cause this problem and you should let your doctor know about this and see if he's OK with your stopping it.
That said, this could be a sinus infection not covered by the amoxicillin with postnasal drainage causing the nausea.
Finally, this could be from an H pylori bacterial stomach infection so, were I your doctor, I would screen you for that
Please let me know if you need any more information
