Brief Answer:
We need to exclude carpal tunnel syndrome.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your daughter's symptoms and based on that, we need to exclude carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). In CTS, a nerve called median nerve gets compressed at the level of wrist. This condition can be diagnosed by doing a nerve conduction studies under the guidance of a neurologist.

If the symptoms do not resolve in a few days, then please ask your daughter to consult a neurologist.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
