Question : I have had continual pain in my right side and right lower back for two days; also, headache, shortness of breath and slight nausea. At first I took some Advil for the pain and then some TYLENOL 3 I had from a previous back problem....still no relief. What can I do?

Brief Answer:
Can be muscle spasm or urinary cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the lower right back that you have can be related to a muscle spasm or a disc problem or a renal infection. You need to consult your physician for a urine infection and get some stronger pain killers and muscle relaxants prescribed for relief. In case there is a urinary infection then an oral antibiotic may be needed.
You cam do a hot compress till then. It will relieve the pain if it is due to a muscle spasm.
I hope this answers your query.
