Brief Answer:
Can be a blood clot.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The persistent pain on walking can be related to a blood clot in the calf muscle. This can happen due to dehydration and muscle spasm also but since the discomfort is recurrent it is best to consult a physician for examination and color doppler scan to rule out any serious cause.
I hope this answers your query.
