Question : Hello,

I am 28 years old. For the last 10 days I am having mild headache. I would rate it as 3 out of 10. The pain is mild so it is difficult to describe. But everytime ,the pain starts with un-easyness or even pain in my right nostril nothing on the left nostril. The pain starts and circulates over the head , sometimes on the forehead and then progresses to the top of the even right temple. I do not have nausea or vomiting. I do not have the pain straight after waking up. May be when I start for office , it starts. It is not continous , it goes off and comes back again. I can even run with the pain, but I feel nervous and stressful whenever I think of the pain is there because I fear of the danger .

Brief Answer:
Likely to be stress headaches

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The headache could be stress related. Taking paracetamol or acetaminophen should take care of the matter.

If that does not help, the next step would be to try anxiolytics like alprazolam. These are prescription medicines and so you would need to visit a doctor for the same.

Thanks Doctor.

I just wanted to know why I feel uneasy on my right nostril of my nose (as I had written on my description). Secondly, I am worried if the headache could be of some major cause because I had headaches in the past but none of them lasted for 10 days as in this case. Can you please clear out my fears.

Brief Answer:
Taking some antiallergic like cetirizine once daily should help.

Detailed Answer:
It could be due to an associated allergic reaction. Taking some antiallergic like cetirizine once daily for next few days should help. As of now I do not think that it is something serious.
