I can understand your concern.
Central chest pain is mostly due to acute gastritis and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
But better to rule out heart related chest pain first as you are above 45 years of age.
So please let me know
1. Is it constant pain?
2. Do you have hypertension or diabetes or other heart diseases?
