Question: my girlfriend ocassionaly slurs her word. this has happened three times in the last six weeks. the episode lasts for about three minutes

At this age possibility of transient ischaemic attacks or seizure may lead to Intermittent slurring of speech.

Is there any history of diabetes, hypertension, stroke, dyslipidemia or other cardiac illness?

Any previous seizure or loss of consciousness?

Any current medication?

Provide these clinical details for advice.

Neuroimaging of brain or EEG may be required.
