Brief Answer:
you are having follicular tonsillitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

From your complaints it looks like that you are suffering from a condition called as follicular tonsillitis , in which the tonsils enlarge and become painful and have white spots on the surface.

Most common cause for this condition is a bacterial infection specially strep and it is advisable that you start on an antibiotic for controlling it.

You will have to meet your doctor for the prescription of the antibiotic.

I would also like you to start gargling with warm salt water or chlorhexidine mouth wash 2-3 times a day , it will help in early recovery

You can take tablet paracetamol 500 mg for the pain .

Please avoid , spicy and cold food , alcohol and smoking as they may worsen the infection.

Take care
