Brief Answer:
Possible oral cancer

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you have an oral lesion that has been present for 6 months. If this were a viral ulceration it should have resolved in 1-2 weeks since this has been present for over 6 months I would be concerned about possible oral cancer. I recommend that you see your medical provider and be referred to an oral surgeon for possible biopsy.

In summary
1. oral ulcer viral resolve in 1-2 weeks
2. Due to length of lesion possible oral cancer
3. See medical provider and possible oral surgeon for biopsy

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
